New probiotic Mystakelli Yogurt

Within the framework of the innovation program of the North Aegean Region, after two years of effort, “Mystakelli Dairy Products Co.” presents the new probiotic “Mystakelli” yogurt .

This effort yielded a new yogurt with a high content of probiotic cells (beneficial microorganisms – lactic acid bacteria Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus 708) extremely beneficial to the consumer’s body, providing an increased positive effect on their health. Specifically, an increased antioxidant capacity of the new probiotic yogurt was found, as well as a reduction in total cholesterol in the consumer’s body, in contrast to the increase caused by the consumption of conventional yogurt. At the same time, the unique nutritional characteristics, aroma, structure and taste of the traditional “Mystakellis” sheep yogurt are preserved unchanged.
